In light of all the news breaking about men’s sexual assault and harassment of women - from Hollywood to the senate to professional sports, our December Men’s Roundtable will focus on sexual assault. Though we see epidemic levels of violence against women, why is it not considered a hate crime? Why does it matter? How can we as men move from silence, collusion, and complicity to accountability?

Join us for a special Women’s Circle, where we’ll practice the art of mindfulness while learning the art of Bookbinding.

Led by Abujahna Donna Alveranga, Artist and Art therapist in training. Her oeuvre, encompassing prints, works on paper, and artists’ books are published under Redlamp Studios. She has exhibited in museums and galleries both nationally and internationally. As an art therapist in training, she has worked with survivors of trauma, such as in Haiti in the aftermath of 2010 earthquake. Her more recent work engages survivors of sexual trauma.
