CONNECT Faith Roundtable: What Does it Mean To Be Nonjudgemental?

Date:
Thu, 12/15/2016 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location:
127 W. 127th St. Room 432, Harlem, NY 10027

“Non judgment” is a key concept in the work with victim-survivors of intimate violence and in the work of nonviolence in general.
But, is it really possible to be nonjudgmental? Isn’t making judgments integral to human being?

Don’t we often describe someone as having “poor Judgment” suggesting that there is “ good judgment?

Please join us for a discussion of what being non judgmental really means. How do our faith communities and religious traditions shape
our understanding and practice?…. All are welcome.
