In observance of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence,  CONNECT, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence present:

In observance of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence theme, “ The Proliferation of small handguns in cases of intimate partner violence” CONNECT and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence presents Guns & Domestic Violence: A Lethal Combination. The event will begin with a presentation on the problem of domestic violence and guns, existing federal and New York State laws designed to address the issue, and pending New York State legislation designed to close loopholes. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with community activists about the lethal intersection of guns and domestic violence in New York City.
