This is a free workshop with Nkem Ndefo, the Founder of TRE Los Angeles This special workshop is for mothers/caregivers and guardians and the teen women and genderqueer youth they care about.

Join us to learn a simple self-care tool that will help you relieve stress, build your resilience and expand your capacity to tolerate these politically and emotionally uneasy, and intense time. We’ll be serving some healthy snacks and hydration to keep you energized through the day.

Facilitator Bios:

Nkem Ndefo is the founder of TRE Los Angeles, LLC, which provides community-based stress management and trauma recovery services and programming to social service, healthcare, and educational organizations.

Ije Ude is a certified coach and holds a master’s in counseling psychology. She spent over 15 years as an organizer, trainer and youth worker in the gender violence and social justice movement. She recently finished her graduate studies in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Ije currently creates and facilitates transformational programs designed to help us heal and recover from trauma and injustice.
