Alex Aiello joined CONNECT as a Community Educator in 2023, with a focus on Restorative Justice. Prior to CONNECT, Alex worked in youth-serving spaces in NYC delivering preventative and informative workshops on teen dating abuse to young people ages 11 through 24. Alex was born and raised in New York City and graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Alex’s experience providing anti-sexual violence services to community began working as president of Students Against Sexual Violence at Davidson College and volunteering as a staffer for the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network’s National Sexual Assault Hotline. Alex is passionate about ending sexual violence and dating abuse through community intervention and education. In Alex’s spare time, Alex enjoys reading, doing yoga, and bullet journaling.
